A two year Diploma course

This diploma course is taught over 14 weekends at intervals of approximately 4 to 6 weeks. There is no requirement to complete an Anatomy and Physiology course before undertaking this Diploma, however it is highly recommended that students undertake a level 3 qualification at some point to enhance their skills as a therapist.

All necessary skills and knowledge to set up practice as a therapist will be delivered within the course with business orientated elements being considered in the second year.

Year 1 content – 7 modules

Introduction to the Human Energy Field – auras and chakras

Use of a pendulum

Cleansing, care and energising of crystals

Consultation and recording treatments

Use of Mantra

The intuitive wisdom of the body

Listening Skills

Crystal origins, geological characteristics and properties

Crystal sensing (ongoing throughout the course)

Crystals for each of the 7 major chakras, including a study of energetic correspondences.

The ‘new’ chakras – related crystals

Introduction to Chinese Medicine: 5 Elements, Meridians and correspondences. Applications for crystal therapists.

Distance Healing

Business management:

Legal requirements

Health and Safety

Insurance and Professional Bodies

Setting up your business, literature and website

Homework and Case Study requirement

Relevant assignments will be set throughout the course. A total of 80 treatments will need to be written up over the duration of the course with at least 30 being submitted in the first year. All case studies should show progression over at least 5 treatments.

This course is undergoing accreditation by the Crystal Healing Foundation (CHF) and will be tutored by Yvonne Diment BSc, DipVCCT, DipASK, RawDips, ITEC, PGCE

I am a fully qualified teacher with over 20 years experience. In recent years I have qualified in a range of complementary therapies and have been building my own practice since 2005. I have taught therapies in Adult Education and the Raworth Centre in addition to teaching from home. My degree included a substantial element of Geology so studying Crystal Therapy was a natural development, with crystals playing an important role in my treatments.

Course fee: £1,650 (Deposit of £250 and 20 monthly installments of £70 by standing order or £100 by cheque on each weekend)
